33 Degree Master Mason, Author, and Filmmaker Christoper L. Hodapp visited Hiram 40 Masonic Lodge on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 and gave a lecture on the current status of Freemasons, the future of the fraternity, and a great discussion on Masonic conspiracy theories.
Hiram 40 had two visitors on Monday, March 5th, 2012. Ozgur, our friend and brother from Turkey visited our lodge and presented Hiram 40 with some gifts from their Turkish lodge. We also David Parker of Springfield Hanby Lodge in Pennsylvania

On Monday, January 4th officers for 4 lodges that share the facility were installed. The ceremony was open to the general public, friends, and family.
On Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009, Hiram 40 Masonic Lodge and William G. Hill Masonic Lodge was able to secure three sets of box suites and take a large group of Children from the Masonic Home for Children of Oxford out for the evening.
Hiram 40 annual pork BBQ. We served over 700 plates on Friday, October 2nd, 2009. Thank you to all the folks that bought plates and volunteered for the event. All proceeds benefit the Masonic Children's Home at Oxford and Eastern Star Homes.
Brother Macon Woodard, a member of Hiram 40 Lodge of Raleigh, NC turned 106 years old in July of 2009. As is our custom, members from the lodge visited Brother Woodard on his birthday for cake and ice cream.
Hiram 40 cooked with Grill-Zilla this year at the 4th Annual NC Masonic Pig Jig. The turn out was so big that Hiram 40 ran out of food by 1:00 PM.
