Hiram Masonic Lodge No.40 will be holding its annual Spring Chicken BBQ fundraiser to benefit the Masonic Home for Children atOxford. BBQ Chicken plates will be offered to the public from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM (or until supplies run out) for $7 each. Each plate includes green beans, boiled potatoes and a dinner roll. Group orders are encouraged in advance, please email us with group orders. Take out and dine in are welcome. BBQ Chicken will be served until it runs out, so be sure to get there early. Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 40 is located at 1520 Caswell Street in Raleigh.

The award winning Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 40 “Pit Masters” will be cooking this year. “Every spring we cook 700 chickens and serve up a great plate of our finest southern style chicken dunked in our award winning BBQ sauce,” says Page Skelton.  ”Our “Secret Sauce” adds a unique kick to our chicken BBQ.”

All proceeds from the annual BBQ event are donated to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford. The Children’s Home is a non-profit residential home, located in Oxford, North Carolina, which provides care for disadvantaged children. The home survives and the children are cared for through charity of others. All monies raised through the BBQ event are donated the Children’s Home to purchase supplies and aid in paying operating expenses of the home.
