			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-472" href="http://www.hiram40.org/the-passing-of-a-brother/ken"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-472" style="margin: 5px 3px;" title="ken" src="http://www.hiram40.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/ken-300x225.jpg" alt="ken" width="300" height="225" /></a>Friends and brothers, last week Brother Ken McDilda passed away after a long and tough fight with cancer.  Ken, Past Master of Hiram 40, always had a positive attitude about his situation.  &#8220;I never saw Ken get upset about his condition, he always pushed on.  Ken was special to me because he was Worshipful Master of the lodge when I took the first step into Freemasonry,&#8221; says Josh Lippy - member of Hiram 40 Masonic Lodge.  He surely will be missed by all.  His funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, February 27th and are listed below, please also find a list of charities you may donate to in memory of Ken.</p>
<p>For brother Master Masons that will be attending Ken McDilda&#8217;s funeral, full Masonic burial service will be performed.  <strong>Hiram 40 Masonic Lodge will have an emergent communication at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 27th.</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.&#8221;</p>
